Electroacoustic collages with lots of humour, noise and strange audio samples,

avant guitar and harmonica improvisations, this perhaps can be best described as "electroacoustic folk" because it still has this far-eastern russian flavor.

And the name speaks for itself too - "The Village Scenes" is a collection of etudes

and compositions inspired perhaps by russian folk writers, yesteryear

avantgarde improvisers and contemporary pop noisemakers.

This record is so far perhaps one the best of Matsutake's works - bright,

slightly mad and really open-minded.

Recorded in Khabarovsk, Russia, nearly a year ago this work has waited quite

a long time to be released and we're happy we have made it. Have a good ride!
