Info:

Vladimir Nessi was discovered a couple of years ago by Odessa based Cardiowave label.
Years before the the local festivals in the memory of this person were held in Odessa, Ukraine. He didn't even suspected that he's such a legendary person in the local area. Earning on his living by singing romances in trams he was spotted by this label

because of the vast amount of his own written songs and ballads. Since then he participates nearly in every interesting Odessic music concert and festival and even was invited on tour with very popular Ukrainian Flëur band around Russia as a session bass guitar player.

Sosulka was recorded in a couple of months when Maxim Shubski met Nessi in Kiev on one of the concerts, arranged by Cardiowave, and some alternate versions were written in another couple of months, just before the label's moving to Germany. Although the single and the most versions on it are mostly Vladimir's material, we must say that it is more a collaboration between Arterija and Nessi. It features an electronic version written by Maxim Shubski with bits of Vladimir's vocal and a "Vesna" (The Spring) radio version recorded from the Atmosfera radio programme because of unavailability of the original mixtape.

"Sosulka" means "icicle" in English. Although the winter is already gone and all the icicles are already melt (it's all because of our constant delays - we planned this release to be out early this spring) - we wish you to enjoy the melancholic psychfolk coolness of this single.
Vladimir has never released anything before and we don't know if he will in the close future - so we are happy to share some exclusive folk music with you.

This lush CD-R is limited to 50 copies with the lovely cardboard artwork designed and handmade by Pavel Golubovski. Most part of it you can enjoy by downloading mp3's.
